Been a crazy and wonderful week with both my mom (Phoenix) and my oldest son (UCLA) visiting for the Easter break. My mom loves Lambert Bridge chardonnay so we had a bottle of that. Also opened a 2012 Flanagan Serenity Way their flagship red blend. The winery didn't disclose the blend (I'll assume it was Merlot and Cab) but noted it had cassis and blackberry flavors, definitely cassis for me. I then moved on to a 2009 Inglenook Cask Cabernet and a 2007 Rubicon Reserve Cabernet (not a Rubicon just a Cab reserve). These were more normal, past their prime cabs that I needed to consume :) Cheers!
