Well it's the five year anniversary of taking my current company (Elevate) public on the NYSE. It's been a long five years and I didn't even realize today was the anniversary let alone a five year milestone. To celebrate I am finishing off a 2013 Joseph Phelps Cab (just their regular Napa Valley cab) that I opened yesterday. The tasting notes as always are kind of funny - hints of pencil shavings (not kidding) - come on. Yes it has the typical dense cedar, mocha tasting of a Napa Cab - but nobody in their right mind shaves a pencil and starts downing it. :) Bottle #36 - Happy Bus for us Steelers fans (Jerome Bettis wore #36).
